Effectiveness
This was the most amazing 5 minutes I’ve ever spent in my life. The procedure was painless. In my case, I could see things I haven’t seen in a long time as soon as I got home. The day after, I woke early to read the newspaper without glasses. On the drive in for my one day post op appointment, I could see license plates and street signs. Thanks for a great job!

After 35 years of glasses or contacts, it’s amazing to wake up and see the bedside clock! This is the best thing that I have ever done for myself. I still forget sometimes and try and take out my contacts before I go to sleep! It’s great!

Improved overall quality of life
I’m a very active hunter and fisherman. I’ve worn glasses since I was a young boy. I had to purchase special scopes for my guns and lost many a pair of glasses in the waters of Louisiana. The first time I went fishing after the surgery, it was unbelievable. I could see redfish schooling in the water clearly. I highly recommend the doctors of Eyecare. The only regret I have is that I didn’t do it sooner.

Freedom from glasses or contacts
My vision is better then when I wore contact lenses. The surgeons are able to more consistently deliver 20/20 vision with the advances in the LASIK procedure. As a local golf pro, I enjoy the golf much more without dealing with the hassle of wearing contacts.

Increased confidence in personal appearance
As I stood in front of the mirror, trying on my wedding dress, I realized how self-conscious I was about the way I looked with my glasses. I decided right there and then that I did not want to wear glasses on my wedding day. I had two choices: be blindly guided by my father or have LASIK surgery. It was so thrilling to be able to walk down the aisle and see everything so clearly. Now when I look at my wedding pictures, I remind myself of that day at the dress shop and am so thankful that I had the surgery. I looked beautiful!

Improved personal safety
I wore glasses when I served in the military during the Gulf War. Without my glasses, I couldn’t see two feet in front of my face. Many times we had to put on our gas masks during chemical warfare. There was a clip in the gas mask for the glasses. Some times the glasses would slip off the clip. I couldn’t remove the mask to adjust the glasses. I just couldn’t see… I’ll never forget that feeling.
It’s such a miracle to be able to see so clearly. I wouldn’t go to sleep the night of the surgery. I was so excited that I could see. It was so amazing to be able to see every blade of grass in my backyard so crisp and clear!

Improvement in job performance
Well, I can see now without glasses. I’m a carpenter and I was always breaking and scratching my glasses. Now, thanks to Eyecare Associates, my problem has been solved.
